These are 1/8″x 2″ Ferro rods. These are great ferro rods to add to a small Altoids tin or a small survival kit. We typically tape one of these to a B-Fat tube and place it in various places in our packs for some fire redundancy.   They throw great sparks for such a small rod. These should be supported the entire length when using.
