These are easy to read in low light and are very accurate. Perfect for the survival kit, car kit, backpack or mini survival tin. Operates accurately from 10 degrees to 110 F. and water resistant to 20 feet. This is not a toy compass but a accurate life saving device. Not to be used to replace a navigational compass. (We like the Suunto MC2 for navigation)
